Follow the IBEW Convention In San Francisco on the Web

You dont have to go to San Francisco to follow the progress of the upcoming 36th International Convention in September. IBEW members can catch the action through the IBEW web site, www.ibew.org.

The site currently features a preview of the Convention, including a schedule of pre-convention activities. These include the Political/Legislative Conference on Friday afternoon, September 7; the Electrical Industry Exposition, Friday through Sunday, September 7-9; the Womens Caucus on Friday morning, September 7, and a meeting of the IBEW Minority Caucus on Saturday morning, September 8. The site also has information for delegates to make travel and hotel accommodations in San Francisco.

The Convention opens on Monday, September 10 and concludes on Friday, September 14. While the Convention is in session, visitors to the IBEW web site will see summaries of the action on the floor updated throughout the day. Information on the proceedings will be archived on the site throughout the Convention and for several weeks after adjournment.
