IBEW members can prepare themselves for network technician and other positions within the industry through the following online learning programs from NACTEL (the National Coalition for Telecommunications Education and Learning):

• the A.S. degree in Telecommunications
• the Intro to Telecom Certificate
• the Essentials of Telecom Certificate

Fall classes begin 09/05/2002 and run through 12/18/2002. Registration ends 08/15/2002 for first time students and 08/15/2002 for returning students.
